You’re driving along and then BAM! You just got hit by another car. Later that day, or a few days later, you may start having headaches, neck pain, low back pain, shoulder pain, or a variety of other problems. Now what?

An important part of your recovery after an auto accident is chiropractic care. Auto injuries often involve the muscles, joints, ligaments, discs, and sometimes even the nerves and brain. Chiropractic care works to restore proper movement, improve function, and decrease pain & inflammation.

Medical research shows that patients who begin with chiropractic treatment earlier improve faster. Our number one goal is to help get you back to your normal life as quickly as possible after an auto accident, so we will always be able to get you scheduled with one of our three experienced doctors within 24 hours.

Chiropractic Care for Auto Injuries

Every accident is different and every patient is different. We customize a treatment plan that is based on your unique injuries and tailor your care for your needs. Our doctors primarily use a chiropractic instrument to deliver a gentle, specific adjustment. By using the Arthrostim® adjusting instrument, we are able to provide pain free chiropractic throughout your care. In addition to chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, and physical therapy may be included as part of your recovery. We also work closely with your other medical providers to coordinate your care in order to provide the most comprehensive treatment.

Insurance Coverage for Auto Accidents

If you are an insured driver in Oregon involved in a car accident, you are eligible to receive a minimum of $15,000 to use for your medical care through your Personal Injury Protection (PIP). Chiropractic, massage, physical therapy, acupuncture are all covered as part of your medical care for your auto injuries.

Each passenger including children may also receive a minimum of $15,000 in medical care through the insured driver’s PIP. What if it was my fault? The $15,000 PIP for medical care is still available to you if you are at fault in an accident and insured.

Some of the most serious cases we see are those auto accidents involving a pedestrian or bicyclist. Your medical care is often covered through your auto insurance, and we will be happy to help you confirm your coverage.
